Stained Glaas Window

All are welcome at Clinton United Methodist Church.  Our worship is a blended service  with praise music as well as traditional hymns and liturgy.  Our music leader, organist/pianist and  band lead us in engaging music. Our choir provides thoughtful musical reflections and we are blessed throughout the year by gifted musicians from our church and community.  The message is presented in the form of a series on a particular theme as well as from weekly scripture readings that are part of the lectionary.  Communion is open to all and served on the first Sunday of each month.  You can expect the service to last about an hour.

Sunday School in July and August

Sunday school will continue throughout the months of July and August and we plan to “hit the waves” with some “beachy” lessons for our summer learners! During the month of July lessons will revolve around the story of “Jesus Calms the Storm” and during August our focus will be the story of “Jesus Serves his Disciples Breakfast on the Beach.”  Each week will be like an activity station at Vacation Bible School:  bible story, games, craft, snack and more!  Many thanks our summer volunteers and to Diane Miner for recruiting leaders for each week.

Children in grades K-5 will enjoy this one-room-school style class.

Older children and youth are expected to remain in worship.

Summer Nursery Care   – During July and August younger children will gather in the nursery school room for supervised play. Caregivers are still needed. Please tell Carol Klausner which Sunday you are available to help!

As we have been trying to get the word out, all worship services in July and August will be here at Clinton UMC. I know that through the summer there are times you will be traveling and out of town. But, when you are in town will you be in worship here at 9:30? If not, please ask yourselves why? It would be my hope that you would want to be with your church family and more so worshiping with others the awesome God we love and serve. And as it says in the scripture (2 Corinthians 5:17-20), so if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation.  If you believe this, then how could we ever stay away.
