Ministries of the clinton united methodist church

Women's Ministry - United Women in Faith
We’re a sisterhood acting in faith to tackle the hard work of the world without hesitation.

Driven by God’s love and united in sisterhood, we work to improve the lives of women, children and youth. Every day, we show up. We take action. We get it done. And we invite you to join us.

The Clinton United Women of Faith organize and facilitate several fundraisers through out the year. Including the very popular Spring and Fall Rummage Sales, the annual July Pie Sale on the Clinton Green and the Christmas Cookie Drive.
Youth Ministry
We want all of our youth to know Jesus Christ and to find their ultimate joy and satisfaction in Him. We have designed our youth ministry to deepen understanding of the greatness of our God, and to give encouragement in the pursuit of godliness and to be in mission for Jesus Christ at all times.

As United Methodists we believe that we are on a lifelong journey of faith–always growing and changing, teaching and learning. Each of us needs to continually grow into Christ and live in ways that are patterned after the life of Christ. The teaching ministry of our pastor and our congregation helps ensure this continued growth. Christian Education at Clinton United Methodist Church is for everyone. We are committed to creating disciples of Jesus Christ to share His Good News with our community and the world. The words over our front entrance remind us to “Enter to Worship, Go Out to Serve.”

At Clinton United Methodist Church we offer a variety of opportunities for quality Christian education adults, youth and children:

Infants and toddlers are lovingly cared for during worship in the nursery room. Preschool and school-age children are excused from the worship service following children’s time to attend Sunday School where they are invited to learn the teachings of God and Jesus Christ. Preteens and teens study and learn together in our Youth Room with engaging wall art and teen-friendly furnishings.

Check out the events calendar for out seasonal activities like the SouperBowl of Caring, Lenten Fun Fest, and the October gathering (either a Trunk or Treat or Fall Fun Fest).

Music Ministry
Our choir meets on select Sunday mornings at 8:30 AM for rehearsal. The choir brings a very important message of God through music to those who are in worship. Our choir members are individuals who volunteer their time to share their gift of music.

Sometimes there will be a full choir and sometimes there will be a soloist or instrumentalist. It's always exciting to see what God will do next with our choir.

We are always looking for new choir members! Reach out to the church office if you have an interest!
Mission & Outreach
The Mission and Outreach committee of CUMC is a group of dedicated individuals who volunteer year round to raise funds and awareness on a cornucopia of issues which align with the values of United Methodists. Including: the Red Cross, UMCOR, Veterans outreach, emergency donations (hurricane, flood and fire relief), Adopt a Family Christmas gifts, The Utica Rescue Mission.

Throughout the year the mission and outreach committee collects donations to help support missions and ministries of our neighbors near and far. One of their most popular is the Spring and Fall Kids Clothing Exchange.
